Privacy Policy
Short version: the numbers you type into a calculator never leave your browser.
What the calculators do with your inputs
Every calculation runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. Calculator inputs are not submitted to this site, included in page requests, saved in a database, or tied to an account. When you close the tab, the financial figures you entered are gone.
Saved state preference
If you choose a US state in the state-tax calculator, the two-letter state code is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember that selection on the same device. It is not sent to a database and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser. No income amount is saved with it.
What is collected
Server logs
The hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — as is normal for any website. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is active through automatic setup. Its performance beacon measures page loads and performance to report page views and visits. Reports can use dimensions such as country, path, referrer, device type, browser, and operating system. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not log query strings, use cookies or local storage for usage metrics, or track a person across its customers’ properties. Measurement of /embed routes is being reviewed separately.
Advertising
This site contains the Google AdSense publisher tag and may display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to personalize advertising where permitted.

Affiliate links
There are currently no affiliate links. If affiliate links are added, they will be identified near the link and this policy will be updated. Links to primary government sources are never affiliate links.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect any calculation. Clearing site storage will also reset the remembered state selection to the default.
Children
This site is aimed at adults running businesses and is not directed at children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from them.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. The site does not currently provide a contact form or collect messages directly from visitors.
