1099 Money Desk is not a tax preparer, law firm, accounting firm, or registered investment adviser. The results shown are arithmetic estimates based on published federal rules and, only in the state calculator, a selected state rate schedule for tax year 2026. They do not prepare a return or determine credits, residency, part-year or nonresident status, multistate sourcing, local tax, or the full facts of your situation.
The tax tools are designed for US federal taxpayers and, for the state calculator, the 50 states and Washington, D.C. They do not model US territories, treaty positions, dual-status or nonresident-alien returns, foreign earned income exclusions, foreign tax credits, or tax systems outside the United States.
Tax outcomes depend on facts these tools cannot see. Before acting on any figure produced here — particularly for decisions such as electing S-Corp status, setting estimated payments, or comparing employment offers — consult a licensed professional who can review your circumstances.

Considerable effort goes into keeping rates correct and current, and sources are documented on the methodology page. Even so, tax law changes, published figures get corrected, and software contains errors. The content is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for verifying any figure you rely on against the linked official instructions. The site does not currently provide a message or error-report form; its review and correction process is described in the editorial and corrections policy.
